What is required of a screen enclosure company?
A company must be licensed and insured in order to install on your property. This protects not only you but the company as well from claims. All our contractors and crews are licensed and fully insured for liability, property damage and workman’s compensation.
Do I need to pull my own building permits?
American Screen Contractors will obtain all necessary permits through the appropriate building departments. If it is necessary to obtain a variance, those fees are paid separately by the homeowners. We will also prepare plans for the Homeowner’s Architectural Committee.
Does my pool enclosure need to be architecturally reviewed? According to Central Florida code these enclsures must be signed off and approved by an engineer. All of our enclosures are drawn to specification and reviewed to meet all applicable codes.
How do I differentiate between companies?
Research the company as well as affiliates. American Screen Contractors is affiliated with American Pools and Spas, established in 1999. Although the company has been recently established under its own entity, we have been in the business building quality enclosures for over 15 years. We not only install the materials, however we fabricate the enclosures on site which minimizes human error as well as improve how efficiently we can install your enclosure.
What is the warranty on the project?
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three years from the day of completion. We stand behind all the products we sell.
